Field Resilience, Team Health, and Reentry is a Level 2 Field Practitioner course for workers who need practical tools for psychological care, multicultural team health, and transition resilience in cross-cultural service.
Field Practitioner course
This course is designed for active workers, tentmakers, and field teams who need resilient practices for person readiness, team culture, and reentry.
Course purpose¶
This course teaches field practitioners how to build personal resilience, manage cultural distance, adapt to team subculture, care for single workers and families, and use the RAFT principle for healthy reentry.
Intended audience¶
- Active cross-cultural workers and teams
- Support leaders responsible for worker care
- Individuals preparing for long-term service or furlough
Prerequisites¶
Recommended: Missionary Readiness 101, Field Readiness, or Missionary Care.
Learning objectives¶
By the end of this course, learners should be able to:
- Describe why person readiness is as important as missiological training
- Assess cultural distance using the E-Scale
- Adapt to both host culture and team culture
- Support singles, families, and TCKs in diverse field settings
- Use RAFT to plan healthy return or furlough transitions
Estimated time¶
90-110 minutes.
Practical output¶
A resilience plan, E-Scale assessment, team covenant template, RAFT transition checklist, and a reentry debrief guide.
